At RedWood’s Corner, we believe local music is more than background sound. It’s culture, community, and creative livelihood.
Our #1 goal for the Local Music Mission is to bring $100,000+ back into the local music economy by enrolling 100+ businesses in our carefully curated “Local Music” Playlists within the next year.
The Local Music Mission creates real opportunities for independent artists, while helping local businesses connect more deeply with the communities they serve.
This page exists to keep our mission transparent and measurable. Here, you’ll find ongoing progress updates as we reach 100 businesses, artists that have benefited from this mission, as well as donors and businesses who are choosing to play a role in sustaining local music. Every contribution through music playback or direct financial support helps keep local creativity alive and heard.

1-year of radio ads for your business on Texas Brew Radio
Custom audio ads created for your business by local artists featured in your rotation (optional)

Ongoing customer support and set-up
This plan allows your business to showcase its support for local music while also creating a more engaging in-store experience for customers. Ready to get started?
*We take care of the set up and give you time to review the playlist and (optional) ads if you’d like.
You can also request local artists to be on your playlists and we will confirm their commercial-license status.
**You can opt-out of local ads for your business, or utilize them for store messages such as sales, closing times, etc.
Donations
We recognize that not every business plays music on-site, or may already be committed to another music solution - but supporting local music doesn’t have to be limited by logistics.
For businesses that aren’t able to stream our playlists, we offer the option to support this mission through direct contributions to our Recording Music Fund or Local Music Mission Fund.
These funds go directly toward:
Helping musicians access quality recording
Supporting businesses that want to feature local music but lack the resources to do so
All donations are documented with receipts.
All supporters may choose to be recognized on this website and in our monthly Local Music Mission newsletters.
